Sometimes I’m Mad, Sometimes I’m Glad
After a brief misunderstanding, BJ realizes anger is an emotion that every child experiences, and on this particular day it seems that everyone in Barney’s world is mad. Barney encourages all of his young friends to find good ways to express and deal with their angry moments – like talking about angry feelings, pounding on clay and crossing their arms and shouting, “I’m mad!” A play about “Goldilocks and The Three bears” helps BJ and Baby Bop to calm down after their heated sibling confrontation. But in the end, Barney’s friends soon realize that even though they may get angry with each other, they can still be good friends!

I Feel Happy
Beth has invented a brand-new holiday called “Happy Day,” in which everyone gets to make a wish for something which will make them happy – and everyone else tries to make that wish come true! Barney and the kids discuss feelings and facial expressions before moving on to the serious business of having fun. BJ enthusiastically joins in the activities as wishes are fulfilled. He wishes for a fishing trip – but his plans change when a small accident brings unexpected sadness to “Happy day.” Now he’s considering a new wish… and is about to learn a wonderful lesson about friends, hearts and happiness.
